I am passionate about is helping others. What does this mean? It means helping those in need. It could be donating money, time or service. Below are some of the causes I am passionate about. I encourage you to help them!
The Disposable Hero’s Project. Below is a letter from Brad (the founder of this project). He is raising funds for the Wounded Warrior project
A few months ago I saw a story on fox news about Sgt. Keith Zeier,a Wounded Warrior, that ran 100 miles in one and a half days to raise money and awareness for our fallen heroes. After seeing this inspiring story I wanted to do more for the ones that still serve, wounded warriors, and our fallen heroes. After spending four years in the Marines and doing two tours to Iraq, I promised myself that I when i got out I would do more for the same guys I served with.

Luke’s Wings is an organization dedicated to the support of service members who have been wounded in battle. Recognizing the immediate need for families to be with their loved ones at such a difficult time, Luke’s Wings provides families with the means to visit during the service member’s hospitalization and rehabilitation. By purchasing travel agency services and travel tickets for loved ones, Luke’s Wings provides an immediate and invaluable service to the families of our men and women at arms while also helping to encourage and motivate the service member’s recovery.

BOMF is a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of homeless populations by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.
We do not provide food or shelter, but instead provide a community that embraces equality, respect, discipline, teamwork and leadership. Our organization consists of much more than just running: our members participate in a comprehensive program that offers connections to job training, employment and housing. Those benefits are earned by maintaining 90 percent attendance at the morning runs three days a week for our six to nine month program.

The mission of the nonprofit program, ING Run for Something Better, is to prevent obesity in children by making fitness opportunities available in schools. We want to introduce kids to the benefits of running and physical fitness and empower children with the means to achieve a healthy lifestyle that they can maintain for the long term. And we’re making it fun for kids, too!
Our goal is to provide the children of our country’s fallen soldiers the opportunity to intimately interact with our country’s most talented leaders. Through diverse coordinated events along with one on one interactions with corporate executives, politicians, professional athletes, and entertainers, Got Your Back Network provides the avenue for the children of the fallen to learn and be inspired by the most successful leaders of our generation.
