100. Yep, miles. Running* (see below).
100 children.
I’m teaming up with Team World Vision to see that 10o children in South Africa get sponsored. What does sponsorship mean? Its pretty simple really.
A cup of coffee a day. A cupcake. A new pair of shoes. A drink. Whatever a dollar a day is to you!
Sponsoring a child in South Africa helps give them:
- Clean water
- Nutritious food
- Healthcare, including AIDS prevention
- Educational opportunities
- Spiritual nurture
- Care for sick or dying parent
- HIV and AIDS counseling
Your child sponsorship is tax deductible. You can write letters to your child. Its a great healthy, family activity!! For a child sponsorship packet, email me for a child sponsorship packet or visit World Vision.
**Now if you are wondering what the 100 miles is all about, here is the scoop. I will be running Rocky Raccoon 100 mile ultra marathon on Feb 4, 2012.
