There are so many people who inspire me all the time!!! Some of the one that inspire me to run:

    1) @joe_runfordom: Runs to raise money for his friend with Cancer

    2) @msruntheus-Running across the US to raise money for MS

There are so many out there that are training for their first races from 5K to Ironman’s. They inspire me everyday!

I nominate my very good friend Danielle (@RTdanielle09). She is my inspiration and motivation to run and push myself. She is a marathoner who is training to be a marathon maniac. Without her I’d still be sitting on my couch eating chips and drinking beer! Now I’m training for my first marathon! Daneille is a supporter of Operation Jack and helping to raise money and awareness for his cause and Train 4 Autism!

I’d like to nominate Nti over @ http://www.moretolife.me. She went from couch to tri all while raising money for cancer. I wrote about her in this post http://www.rungivelove.com/2010/05/20-something-awesome-1/

I have a friend @karenmrogers who is attempting the Farallon Islands to San Francisco tomorrow morning with English Channel rules (1 cap, 1 regular suit, goggles). It has only been finished by 2 men and never by a woman. You can watch her GPS progress here http://karenmrogers.com/spot-me-2/
Here is hoping for calm seas and great conditions.

@JessFitz4989 has recently taken up the goal of running a half marathon after not running for YEARS! she’s been running 1-2 miles a day and has had much determination!

@xamandamae has recently lose over 30lbs by eating healthier and working out! She’s been very consistent and she looks GREAT!

I recently picked up an old copy of Bicycle magazine and read this man’s incredible story… known as “Large Fella on a Bike” on his blog, that has now ended. He lost 330lbs between November 2005 – 2009 by taking up cycling.

Amazing! I’m glad she has taken it back up! BTW, what’s your Twitter name?

I’m going to have to buck the trend and nominate myself. I’m @DenaS on Twitter. One year ago, I weighed close to 300 lbs. Thanks to gastric bypass in December and some major lifestyle changes I’m almost half the woman I once was. I’m still losing and could use, as you said yourself, a major exercise wardrobe makeover. I’m run/walking and I’m signed up for a fitness bootcamp class beginning at the end of the month.

Whenever I meet someone who’s considering gastric bypass, I tell him or her my story and let them know that I’m happy to discuss my decision with them in depth. It’s the best decision I ever made!
