Posted on 30. Sep, 2009 by Sarah in Fitness, Inspiration
Here are some common excuses and responses to them from my good friend Orman Jones of Body Right Fitness. We have talked about this topic for a while & finally have some “comebacks” for you!
I DON’T HAVE TIME TO EXERCISE
One of the most common excuses used. Work. Home. Family. School. Try scheduling time out the day just for exercise at least 30min. You will not only improve your physical health, you’ll improve mental health as well. Even Barack Obama takes time to exercise
I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START
Hire a qualified personal trainer (contact me for more info) to get you started on a safe and effective exercise routine that will fit your fitness level.
I CAN’T AFFORD A GYM MEMBERSHIP
You don’t have to spend money on a gym membership in order to lose weight or get fit. Start a program by walking or cycling outside. Use resistance bands and stability ball at home to work on every muscle group.
I AM BORED WITH MY WORKOUT ROUTINE
